Shawnee Party Bus & Charter Bus Rentals
Shawnee sits right on the western edge of the Kansas City metro — close enough to Arrowhead Stadium, T-Mobile Center, and Kansas City International Airport that a Shawnee party bus rental makes total sense for any group heading east on I-35 or K-7. Fill out one quick form or call 913-489-6980 and compare vehicles and rates in seconds, no account needed.
The Smart Way to Book a Party Bus Rental in Shawnee
Olathepartybuscompany.com is not a bus company. It's a quote-comparison website — a fast, free way to browse party buses, charter buses, and minibuses from a large network of transportation providers serving Shawnee, Kansas and the surrounding metro. You're never limited to a single fleet, and you never have to call five different companies just to find out who has availability on your date.
Here's how it works: enter your trip details — date, group size, pickup and drop-off — and the site returns pricing and vehicle options from providers serving your area in under 30 seconds. No account required. No obligation.
If you'd rather talk it through, a support team is available by phone at 913-489-6980 any day of the year. Compare a 15-35 passenger minibus for a wedding shuttle circuit through Shawnee and Lenexa, a 25-passenger party bus for a bachelorette crawl through Westport, or a full 56-passenger charter bus for a corporate group heading to a conference at the Kansas City Convention Center. Whatever the trip, the options are here — and the quote is free.
Shawnee Bus Rental Options
The vehicle lineup runs from Sprinter vans and Sprinter limos up through party buses seating 15 to 50, minibuses for 15 to 35, and full-size charter buses accommodating up to 56. Browse the full selection of bus types or call 913-489-6980 to talk through which size fits your headcount and itinerary.

Shawnee Bus Amenities Built Around Your Trip
Party buses in the network typically come with perimeter seating, LED lighting, a premium sound system with Bluetooth connectivity, and flat-panel TVs — the kind of setup that makes the ride to Westport feel like part of the night. Minibuses are a strong pick for wedding shuttles and corporate hops between Shawnee and downtown Kansas City, with reclining seats and powerful climate control for summer days on I-35. Charter buses built for longer hauls — think a group heading to a Chiefs away game or a university visit in Lawrence — generally include overhead storage, onboard restrooms, and undercarriage bays deep enough for luggage and equipment.
Amenities vary by vehicle, so comparing options side by side on this site gives you the clearest picture of what's available on your date.
Air-conditioning
Wraparound Leather Seats

LED and Fiber Optic Lighting
Built-in Bar Areas With Ice Storage and Cup Holders

Amenities listed above are common features that MAY be available on party buses. Because we are a referral website and do NOT own or operate buses, exact features vary by vehicle, provider, and availability. After you submit your quote request, you can browse vehicle options, pricing, and available details on the results page. To confirm the exact amenities included with a specific vehicle offered for your trip, call 913-489-6980 before booking.
Shawnee Party Bus Prices for Your Trip
Shawnee party bus rental prices shift based on vehicle size, day of the week, and how long you need the bus. To give you a planning baseline: a 15-passenger party bus runs roughly $200–$350 per hour on weekdays and $250–$350 on weekends. A 30-passenger party bus lands around $300–$375 weekday and $325–$425 weekend.
A full charter bus for a large corporate or sports group comes in at $200–$350 per hour regardless of the day. These are planning ranges — real pricing moves with demand, the specific vehicle, and your itinerary details.
The fastest way to get a number for your exact date is the online quote form: fill in your trip details and you'll see pricing in under a minute. Or call 913-489-6980 and the team can build a custom quote on the spot. Check the party bus prices page for a full breakdown by vehicle type.

Find the Right Party Bus for Your Shawnee Group
Booking group transportation used to mean calling operators one at a time, describing your trip from scratch on each call, and waiting on callbacks that didn't always come. Olathepartybuscompany.com replaces that scramble with one form and a results page showing you vehicles, pictures, and pricing side by side. That's the whole model — and it's genuinely better than the alternative.
Because the site pulls from a large network of providers serving the Shawnee and greater Kansas City area, you're never told "sorry, nothing available" and forced to start over. If one vehicle type is booked on your date, others show up. If your group grows from 22 to 35 between now and the event, swapping vehicle sizes is a one-call conversation at 913-489-6980 rather than a full re-search.
And since there's no account to create and no obligation attached to a quote, there's no reason not to check right now. The site is available any time — midnight before a weekend event, Tuesday afternoon for a June wedding — because demand in the Kansas City metro doesn't keep business hours. Get a quote in seconds and call 913-489-6980 whenever you're ready to move forward.
Shawnee Party Bus & Charter Bus Services
From airport runs to KCI, Chiefs game shuttles to Arrowhead, prom nights, wedding weekends, winery tours, and corporate event circuits — Olathepartybuscompany.com covers every group transportation need in Shawnee. Find the right service below, or call 913-489-6980 and the team will match you with the right vehicle for your specific trip.

Shawnee Airport Shuttles & Transportation
Kansas City International Airport (KCI) sits roughly 30 miles northeast of Shawnee via I-435 and I-29 — about 40 to 50 minutes in normal traffic, longer on Friday afternoons when the I-435 interchange backs up heading north. For groups flying in for a wedding weekend, a corporate retreat, or a multi-city event, coordinating individual rideshares from KCI to hotels in Shawnee is a logistical headache with no clean answer: flights arrive at different times, bags take longer than expected, and surge pricing hits at peak hours.
A dedicated Shawnee airport shuttle solves this by running on your schedule — one pickup window, one vehicle, the whole group together from baggage claim to your destination. The site makes it easy to compare Sprinter vans for smaller groups and minibuses or charter buses for larger ones. Call 913-489-6980 to set up your KCI shuttle and lock in your rate before peak travel dates fill out.

Shawnee Bachelor & Bachelorette Transportation
Westport is the go-to for Shawnee bachelorette groups — it's about 20 minutes east on Shawnee Mission Parkway, and the bar density along Pennsylvania Avenue and Westport Road means your group can walk between stops without moving the bus every round. The Country Club Plaza is another strong option for an early dinner and rooftop drinks before the night escalates. For groups who want to push later, the Power & Light District stays busy until 3am on weekends and rideshare surge pricing into Shawnee after midnight can run steep.
A Shawnee bachelorette party bus with LED lighting, a sound system, and perimeter seating makes the transit between stops part of the celebration rather than a pause in it. Book a 20- or 25-passenger party bus for a mid-size group, or a 30-passenger party bus if the whole friend group is coming. Call 913-489-6980 — weekend dates book out fast, especially May through September.

Shawnee Birthday, Sweet 16, & Quinceañera Party Bus Rentals
Sweet 16s and quinceañeras in the Shawnee area often split the evening between a reception hall and a separate photo or dinner stop — and coordinating that movement across multiple family cars is where things get complicated. A Shawnee birthday party bus rental keeps the whole group together, on time, and in the moment from the first pickup to the last drop-off.
For milestone adult birthdays heading downtown — dinner at the River Market, a rooftop bar on the Plaza, a late night in Westport — a party bus seating 18 to 30 is a great fit. For Sweet 16 and quinceañera groups that need more room for guests in formal wear, a 40-passenger party bus or a clean minibus can handle the headcount without anyone feeling cramped. Compare options and check availability by calling 913-489-6980 or using the quick quote form — pricing comes back in under a minute.

Shawnee Concert Transportation & Shuttles
Most of the Kansas City metro's major concert venues are 20 to 35 minutes from Shawnee, and every one of them has a parking story worth knowing before you go. T-Mobile Center in downtown KC has a covered garage directly attached, but it fills fast for arena-level shows and surrounding surface lots charge a premium on event nights. The Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs — about 15 miles northeast of Shawnee — sits right off K-32, and the post-show exit onto Kansas Avenue becomes a slow crawl when 18,000 people leave at once.
A Shawnee concert bus rental through Olathepartybuscompany.com drops your group at the venue entrance and is back for pickup when the show ends — no lot fees, no exit crawl, no one trying to remember where they parked. A group concert shuttle is especially worth it for Azura shows, where the walk from the far lots to the stage is significant. Call 913-489-6980 to compare options for your show date.

Shawnee Corporate Event Transportation
Shawnee's business corridor along Clear Creek Parkway and Quivira Road puts a lot of corporate campuses and office parks close together — but getting a team from those offices to a downtown Kansas City conference, a client dinner in the Power & Light District, or a team event at Sprint Center takes planning. The I-35 ramp at Shawnee Mission Parkway is a known bottleneck during morning and evening rush, and anyone who's tried to park a fleet of rental cars near the Kansas City Convention Center knows the situation is expensive and slow.
A Shawnee corporate event charter bus keeps the team together, sidesteps the parking math, and makes the ride part of the agenda rather than a logistics problem. Minibuses are a clean fit for executive transfers and small team shuttles; full charter buses handle conference-scale headcounts. Call 913-489-6980 to discuss group rates and multi-day shuttle contracts.

Shawnee Private Event Transportation Services
Family reunions, church retreats, neighborhood group trips, fundraiser galas — Shawnee generates a lot of private event transportation needs, and not all of them fit neatly into a stadium or a concert venue. Sometimes the event is a winery day trip out to the Kansas City area's growing vineyard scene. Sometimes it's a float trip pickup in the Ozarks with a group that needs a charter bus for the drive down and back.
Sometimes it's a private dinner party where the host wants everyone dropped at the restaurant and picked up after dessert.
A Shawnee private event charter bus fits all of those trips without asking you to justify the occasion. Compare minibuses, party buses, and full charter buses through the quote tool, or call 913-489-6980 and describe the trip — the team can walk you through which vehicle size and format fits your specific plan.

Shawnee Homecoming & Prom Party Bus Rentals
Mill Valley High School and Shawnee Mission Northwest both draw large prom groups every spring, and demand for party buses across Johnson County spikes hard from late April through mid-May. The window is short — most area high schools schedule proms within the same four-week stretch — and availability thins out quickly once March arrives. For prom: book by January to lock in your vehicle and rate.
Waiting until spring almost always means paying more for a smaller bus, or finding that the size you wanted is already gone.
A Shawnee prom party bus with LED lighting and a Bluetooth sound system is the kind of arrival that makes the parking lot moment. Groups of 15 to 20 fit well on a smaller party bus; larger friend groups should look at a 28- or 30-passenger option. Call 913-489-6980 now — January fills faster than you'd expect.

Shawnee School Event & Field Trip Transportation
Getting students from Shawnee to a field trip destination in the Kansas City metro takes real coordination — bus counts, chaperone ratios, loading zone clearance, and drop-off access all have to line up before the day even starts. Destinations like the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium (6800 Zoo Dr, Kansas City, MO 64132), the National World War I Museum and Memorial at Liberty Memorial, or Union Station Kansas City each have their own bus staging procedures and vehicle approach requirements.
A Shawnee school event charter bus with overhead storage and onboard restrooms keeps the logistics clean for longer drives. ADA-accessible vehicles are available through the network — mention it when you request your quote. Teachers and event coordinators can call 913-489-6980 any day to build a custom package around headcount, pickup schedule, and destination logistics.

Shawnee Sporting Event Transportation
Arrowhead Stadium on a Chiefs game day is one of the most electric experiences in American sports — and one of the more complicated parking situations in the metro. The complex off I-70 at Blue Ridge Cutoff draws 70,000+ fans, lots open five hours before kickoff, and the post-game exit on I-70 eastbound backs up for miles. The Arrowhead group transportation guide covers the approach in detail, but the short version is that a charter bus coordinated in advance is a far better plan than a nine-car caravan from Shawnee and back.
Royals fans heading to Kauffman Stadium face a similar lot situation right next door. And Children's Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas — home of Sporting KC — sits about 12 miles from central Shawnee with limited street parking near the stadium entrance. A Shawnee sporting event party bus drops your group at the gate and picks everyone up when the final whistle blows.
Call 913-489-6980 to lock in your game-day bus — Chiefs home games book out fast.

Shawnee Wedding Transportation & Shuttle Service
Shawnee has a solid lineup of ceremony and reception venues — Tomahawk Hills Golf Course, Brookridge Golf and Country Club, and several estate properties along the western Johnson County corridor. The challenge on wedding day is that guests often stay at hotel blocks in Lenexa or along the Shawnee Mission Parkway corridor, and getting everyone to the venue and back without asking Aunt Carol to navigate K-7 at 10pm is its own project.
A Shawnee wedding shuttle bus runs the loop between the hotel block, the ceremony, and the reception on a clean schedule — guests board, guests arrive, guests get back safely. A 14-passenger Sprinter limo is a natural fit for bridal party transportation on the day itself. For larger guest counts requiring multiple circuits, minibuses or a full charter bus can handle the volume.
Call 913-489-6980 to build a wedding day transportation plan around your venue and timeline.

Shawnee Winery Tour & Pub Crawl Transportation
The Kansas City area's winery and brewery scene has grown considerably, and Shawnee groups have good options within a short drive. Lenexa's small-batch wineries are a quick hop east. Shawnee's own pub corridor along Johnson Drive has enough stops for a solid local crawl without leaving the city.
For groups willing to drive an hour, Amigoni Urban Winery in the River Market neighborhood and Westport's bar scene both make for strong additions to a longer itinerary.
A Shawnee winery tour party bus keeps the group together between stops and removes the question of who's staying sober for the drive home. A 20- or 25-passenger party bus fits most tour groups comfortably. For a full weekend group, a 30-passenger option gives everyone room to settle in between tastings.
Call 913-489-6980 to check availability and compare pricing for your tour date.

Frequently Asked Questions About Shawnee Party Bus Rentals
How does this website work?
Olathepartybuscompany.com helps you compare bus rental options; it is not the bus company and does not rent, own, or operate vehicles. When you submit the quote form, your trip details go through a booking company so you can review pricing and available vehicles for your date. You compare the options and book through the process shown with your quote.
What is Olathepartybuscompany.com?
Olathepartybuscompany.com is a quote-comparison website for group ground transportation. It's not a bus company and it doesn't provide transportation directly. It's a free tool that lets you compare party buses, charter buses, and minibuses from providers serving Shawnee and the Kansas City metro — all in one place, without calling each company separately.
How does Olathepartybuscompany.com work?
Enter your trip details — date, group size, pickup location, destination — into the online quote form. The site returns pricing and available vehicle options from providers in your area in under 30 seconds. No account required.
If you want to talk through the options, call 913-489-6980 any day of the year and the team can build a custom quote around your exact trip.
How much does a party bus cost in Shawnee?
Party bus rental prices in Shawnee vary based on vehicle size, the day of the week, and trip length. A 20-passenger party bus typically runs $250–$350 per hour on weekdays and $275–$350 on weekends. A 40-passenger party bus lands around $300–$350 weekday and $325–$500 weekend.
These are planning ranges — your real quote depends on your specific date and itinerary. Use the online form or call 913-489-6980 for pricing in about a minute. The party bus prices page has a full rate breakdown by vehicle type.
What's the difference between a party bus and a charter bus?
A party bus is built around the social experience — perimeter seating, LED lighting, a sound system, and often flat-panel TVs. It's the right pick for bachelorette nights, proms, birthday crawls, and any trip where the ride itself is part of the event. A charter bus is configured more like a motorcoach, with forward-facing reclining seats, overhead storage, undercarriage luggage bays, and onboard restrooms on most vehicles.
Charter buses are the better fit for long-distance group travel, corporate shuttles, airport transfers, and school field trips. Both are available through this site — compare them side by side using the quote form.
How many people fit on each vehicle type?
Party buses in the network seat 15 to 50 passengers depending on the model. Minibuses handle 15 to 35. Full-size charter buses seat up to 56.
Sprinter vans are ideal for groups of 10 to 14. If your headcount is right on the edge between two vehicle sizes, calling 913-489-6980 is the fastest way to figure out which option gives your group the most comfort for the trip.
Can I book a one-way trip, or does it have to be round-trip?
Both options are available. One-way trips — like an airport drop-off or a transfer from a hotel block to a wedding venue — are common and easy to quote through the site. Round-trips, multi-stop itineraries, and full-day packages are all on the table too.
Describe your trip on the quote form or call 913-489-6980 and the team will match the format to your specific plan.
What should I tell the team when I call?
The more specific you can be, the faster the quote comes back. Have your event date, approximate group size, pickup address in Shawnee, destination (venue name and address if you have it), and a rough time window ready. If you're planning a multi-stop night — say, dinner in Westport, then the Power & Light District, then home — just describe the route and the team will work the itinerary into the quote.
You don't need to have everything finalized to call.
How far in advance should I book?
For most events, booking 4–8 weeks out gives you solid availability and pricing. For high-demand dates — Chiefs home games from September through January, prom season in late April and May, New Year's Eve, and summer wedding weekends from June through August — book 3 to 6 months out. Prom season is the tightest window in Johnson County: most area high schools schedule within the same four-week stretch, and party bus availability across Shawnee, Lenexa, and Overland Park gets thin fast.
For prom, January is the right time to call. Lock in your date at 913-489-6980 before the slot disappears.
Popular Shawnee Party Bus Destinations
Shawnee groups tend to head east toward downtown Kansas City and the Westport corridor, north to Arrowhead and Kauffman, or out along K-7 to the growing entertainment and dining options in the western metro. Here are six destinations that Shawnee party bus groups visit most — with the logistics you'll actually want to know before you go.

T-Mobile Center
T-Mobile Center (1407 Grand Blvd, Kansas City, MO 64106) sits in the heart of downtown KC and hosts everything from Royals watch parties and UFC events to major touring concerts and the Big 12 Tournament each March. The arena's attached parking garage on Grand Boulevard fills fast for high-demand shows, and street parking in the surrounding blocks is metered and limited. Surface lots nearby charge event-rate pricing that can run $20–$40 depending on the event.
From Shawnee, the drive is roughly 25–30 minutes east on I-35, but post-show traffic on the downtown freeway ramps backs up on busy nights. The T-Mobile Center group transportation guide covers drop-off and pickup logistics — a charter bus drops your group at the arena entrance and eliminates the lot search entirely. Call 913-489-6980 to check availability for your show date.

Arrowhead Stadium
Arrowhead Stadium (One Arrowhead Dr, Kansas City, MO 64129) is 19 miles northeast of central Shawnee — about 30 minutes in light traffic, but game-day I-70 eastbound is a different story. Lots open five hours before kickoff, and the parking complex charges $50 per vehicle at most gates. Post-game, I-70 backs up from the stadium exit for several miles, adding 45 minutes or more to the return trip.
The Arrowhead Stadium charter bus guide has full approach and parking detail. For a Shawnee group of 20 or more, a single charter bus or party bus is cleaner, cheaper per person, and far less stressful than coordinating multiple vehicles and meeting points after the final whistle. Chiefs home games from September through January book fast — call 913-489-6980 early.

Westport Entertainment District
Westport (Pennsylvania Ave at Westport Rd, Kansas City, MO 64111) is Shawnee's go-to nightlife destination — about 20 minutes east on Shawnee Mission Parkway — and the bar and restaurant density there is genuinely unmatched in the metro. Kelly's Westport Inn has been pouring since 1947, making it one of the oldest bars in Missouri. Granfalloon, The Foundry, and Harpo's give groups plenty of options within a two-block walk.
Parking in Westport on weekends is tight: the surface lots off Pennsylvania fill early, residential permit zones run deep into the surrounding streets, and rideshare wait times spike after midnight heading back to Shawnee. A party bus staging nearby eliminates the parking math and the late-night surge entirely. For a bachelorette, birthday, or any group crawl, this is one of the cleanest bus-friendly itineraries in the metro.
Call 913-489-6980 to set it up.

Kauffman Stadium
Kauffman Stadium (1 Royal Way, Kansas City, MO 64129) sits directly adjacent to Arrowhead in the Truman Sports Complex, and the two venues share the same sprawling lot system off I-70 at Blue Ridge Cutoff. Royals parking is $20–$25 per vehicle at most general lots, and the walk from the far end of the complex to the stadium gates is significant — especially for larger groups with kids or anyone in formalwear for a themed game night. From Shawnee, count on 30 minutes each way in typical traffic, longer when I-70 is backed up approaching the complex.
The Kauffman Stadium bus rental guide covers the approach and lot options in detail. A charter bus or party bus drops your group at the gate and handles the return — no one's navigating the lot exit when the game runs long. Call 913-489-6980 for game-day pricing.

Children's Mercy Park
Children's Mercy Park (Children's Mercy Park, Kansas City, KS 66111) is home to Sporting KC and sits about 12 miles from central Shawnee — a quick shot north on K-7 to I-70 westbound. The stadium holds 18,467 and draws consistent sellouts for marquee MLS matches and USMNT games. Street parking near the venue is minimal, and the surrounding industrial corridor in Kansas City, Kansas doesn't offer the surface lot overflow you'd find at the Truman Sports Complex.
Rideshare pickup after matches requires navigating to specific staging areas that fill quickly. The Children's Mercy Park group bus guide covers the approach logistics. A minibus is a natural fit for a Shawnee friend group of 20 or fewer heading to a Sporting KC match — compact enough for the approach roads, and your group lands together at the main gate.
Call 913-489-6980 to check match-day availability.

Country Club Plaza
The Country Club Plaza (47th and J.C. Nichols Pkwy, Kansas City, MO 64112) is one of the oldest outdoor shopping and dining districts in the country — a 15-block open-air corridor with upscale restaurants, rooftop bars, and the kind of ambiance that makes it a natural first or last stop on a Shawnee group itinerary. From Shawnee, the Plaza is about 20–25 minutes east on Shawnee Mission Parkway. The Plaza's own parking garages are free during most shopping hours but event nights, holiday weekends, and the annual Plaza Art Fair each September push street and garage availability thin.
For groups using the Plaza as one stop on a longer evening — drinks before a concert, dinner after a bridal shower — a party bus or minibus staging nearby is far cleaner than asking everyone to find their own parking and regroup. Call 913-489-6980 to build the Plaza into your itinerary.
